you guys should cover iRacing events! The racing is much better, physics are much more realistic, and you get almost zero “lolkids” that are just there to wreck people. No LeMans, but plenty of other big events and they have ACTUAL endurance races, not this 2.4 hour child's play.

I can’t even get it right with the rewinds, half the time.
It doesn’t help that the racing line is inconsistent. Sometimes it has me brake way too early, other times way too late.

I don’t get it right with rewinds half the time as well, which is why I need unlimited.
I find the lines depend on the game; the Fourza system is the one with which I’m attuned: I generally brake a bit later than when the line turns red. When I used the line system in Grid Autosport, even if I hit the brakes before the line turned red I would always brake far too late and crash (modern run off areas are designed for me).

Crap. My problem is- I have two Xbox live accounts. One of them is gold. The other isn’t, and the the non-gold one is the one I played Fourza on for such a long time. I have LMP’s and such on the old account and can't get them to the new one. :(

I used to race without it, but without any sense of depth or G-force I cannot judge braking points to save my life. Racing without the line consisted of rewinding every corner 2-3 times or just hitting it horribly wrong.

Great job to you and all drivers coordinating and putting on a show. Wish I could drive clean enough to participate! I just hope Forza 6 has the Gatrick Peorge Camaro Cup and simulates Ferrari/Porsche combustion to up the realism factor. Games are slacking.

I don’t know when we’ll have another endurance race like this, but up until last week we had two weekly racing series. Right now we’re deciding on the next one. SVTTyler will probably post up the signups for those when a decision is made.

We’ve done three full racing series in the past year or so on Oppositelock (GT2/GTE, and Trans-Am and Two-Five Challenge run concurrently, with each season lasting ~6 months and 12 rounds) and have plans for more, just trying to figure out exactly what we want to do next. One season will definitely be Rolex/Continental Tire-inspired with stuff like the RX-8 and M3 and Boss 302 but we’re still deciding on the second series. Search ‘Fourza’ on Oppositelock and you’ll see updates and past posts.

Cool, is it sign up whenever or at the beginning of the season? Also, there is a very fun but not very serious race series I’ve done with friends before that might be fun for this, SUV/pickup racing where you fully upgrade the cars and then ruin them and make them almost undrivable via tuning. It’s lots of fun when you are not in a wall (so about 50%of the time) and hilarious to see the entire grid either flip or hit walls on almost every corner.

Sorry for such a belated reply, I’ve been in France for the past week without Internet. I’ll make a sign-up post once we finalize the two series so everyone knows for sure what we want to do before they hop on board. I’d imagine we’ll have everything sorted out by the first week of July so be on the lookout then.
